Green Building and LEED Core Concepts
Sponsored by San Diego Gas & Electric
Our built environment is all around us – it provides the setting for all our life events, big and small. And whether we notice it or not, our built environment plays a critical role in our natural, economic and cultural environments. The built environment provides a context for facing and addressing humankind’s greatest contemporary challenges. This session will provide a general overview of LEEDv4 and Green Building core concepts such as integrative design, triple bottom line, and life cycle analysis, for those interested in a deeper understanding of the LEED rating systems or pursuing the LEED Green Associate credential.
This session does not count for GBCI continuing education, as this is exam prep. However, this session will count for 7 hours of AIA continuing education. Registration is hosted through the SDG&E Energy Innovation Center: REGISTER HERE
