101 How to Kick Off Your Energy Savings Program

Sponsored by SDG&E Energy Innovation Center

In Existing Buildings, a combination of deferred maintenance, aging systems, and changing building programming can attribute to less than efficient operations and energy consumption. In this session, we'll review a concept for Continuous Improvement and Facility Condition Assessments in order to create energy planning and management goals.

This session will deliver a checklist of next steps for attendees to start an energy savings program, how to identify and prioritize energy efficiency and demand response strategies, and incorporate utility and other incentives and rebates in capital planning.

Speakers:

  • Josh Dean, San Diego Green Building Council
  • Ravi Bajaj, San Diego Green Building Council
