Once an energy audit is completed, it’s time to make decisions, plan and implement. An internal Energy Action Plan should be developed to provide a dynamic platform for completing energy projects. This session will help you uncover a pathway to developing a plan of action and possible funding sources for energy projects identified from the energy audit report. Learning objectives include:
Josh Dean has professional experience working in the real estate, sustainability and construction industries. He holds a Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management from Southern Polytechnic State University, a Green Building Certificate from Colorado State University, and is a LEED Accredited Professional in Existing Buildings Operations & Maintenance. He has been involved with the USGBC - San Diego Chapter since 2013 and has been on staff since January 2015. He has worked on LEED EBOM and energy projects throughout Colorado and San Diego County.
Will McHenry has 25 years of experience working with nonprofits in facilities and energy management. He has been with the Jacobs & Cushman San Diego Food Bank as the Project/Facilities Director for over 7 years, and he has managed their efforts in major renovation projects, path to zero net energy, zero waste, and LEED Certification.
