Who We Are

The Green Schools Committee is comprised of construction, engineering and construction professionals, traditional and non-traditional educators, parents, and college students working to promote the design and construction of green schools and helping integrate sustainability and environmental topics into school curriculum.

What we do

and volunteers join to “green” local K-12 schools. Several events will be held throughout the year. Check the chapter calendar for volunteer opportunities.

Healthy Schools Initiative

An education and action campaign focused on advancing the adoption of wellness programs and standards in San Diego K-12 Schools, including
the WELL Building Standard™ through community workshops, service work at local schools and advocating for healthier schools.

Student Presentations & Teacher Workshops
