LEED v4 Green Associate Training

This session will provide a general overview of LEED and Green Building core concepts, and expectations for the LEED Green Associate exam; including LEED certification protocols and basics, LEED terminology and associated metrics, and the major referenced standards throughout the rating system. The session will also cover LEED v4, in preparation for the Green Associate exam.

This session does not count for any LEED credential maintenance, as this content qualifies as exam preparation.

Speaker: Alex Spilger is Principal and Founder of GreenStep: Education for the Built Environment. He teaches LEED workshops for organizations throughout the Bay Area, and has worked on over two dozen green building projects. Alex uses his experience to offer practical and engaging workshops, which will help prepare you to pass with confidence the first time. Alex is an active member of USGBC-NCC, and serves on the USGBC Corresponding Committee for LEED EBOM. He also works with BCCI Construction; helping to educate staff, develop internal tools and systems, and facilitate the LEED documentation efforts on several projects. Alex is a LEED Accredited Professional, Certified Green Building Professional, AIA Continuing Education Provider, HERS Rater and holds a B.S. in Civil Engineering from UCLA.
