2016 Net Positive:Energy+Water Conference recap

The International Living Future Institute (ILFI), manages and delivers the Living Building Challenge certification, as well as education around achieving a Sustainable or "Living" Future. Hosting two national conferences on cutting-edge sustainability at both the building and community scale, ILFI puts on the Net Positive: Energy + Water conference each year in February. This year's content was focused on both energy and water opportunities and barriers, as well as a unique focus on Equity for last month's event. Keynotes include John Todd (Ecological Design), Denise Fairchild (Emerald Cities Collaborative), Amanda Sturgeon (ILFI), and more! The conference also hosted four tracks covering equity, ecological impacts, water tech and strategies, net positive energy, and water treatment/regulatory issues.

If you were unable to make it to the conference, come hear from some of our local community members who attended the conference, who will share their experiences and lessons learned.

Please note that lunch will be served at 11:45, and the presentation will begin at noon. All paid attendees for this event will receive a free copy of the latest TrimTab magazine (ILFI's bi-monthly transformative magazine).

This session will be eligible for one hour of  "General" GBCI credential maintenance, to be reported under "Education" activity type.

This session is supported by the Chapter Education Committee in partnership with Jimbo's ...Naturally and The Design Institute of San Diego - THANK YOU for the support!
