Join us July 19thThursday for a public speaking workshop with media coach and sports broadcaster Katy Temple. Learn the basics and enhance your speaking techniques! Whether you are pitching an idea to an executive team, presenting to clients, or speaking to peers, this workshop will help you find your unique voice and convey your message with poise and impact.

Our speaker:


Katy Temple is the Founder and CEO of Katy Temple Media Coaching. Leveraging over 20 years of sports broadcasting, Katy is committed to helping her clients be the best version of themselves on-camera and in person. She believes that great communication skills never go out of style.

Before launching her business, Katy’s broadcasting career covered a lot of range. She was the sideline reporter and host for the Atlanta Braves on Fox Sports South. She balanced her “off season” out by reporting for the NFL Network. She covered the 2010 Vancouver Olympics for Olympic Broadcast Services. For six years, Katy was the weekend sports anchor for FOX6 in San Diego and the co-host of That Sunday Sports Show. Her first official on-air job was with Media One in Fresno, California where she did play by play for Fresno State sports and was the producer and host of the Jerry Tarkanian and Pat Hill ShowsWhen she’s not working with her clients, Katy is a sports anchor on a fill in bases on CBS8 in San Diego.

Katy is an Emmy award winner and San Diego Press Club award winner. She volunteers for various organizations, mentors young broadcast hopefuls, and is also a spokesperson, master of ceremonies, and speaker.

Katy loves spending time with her big family and won’t miss the annual Easter golf tournament in the central valley, where she’s proud to be from.
